Our current learning
In term 2 our history curriculum will continue to explore aspects of Medieval England. We will scrutinize the Norman Conquest and the tactics of William the Conqueror, including his use of the Domesday Survey, the development of castles, and the harsh realities of the Harrying of the North.Following this, we will shift our focus and examine the profound impact of the Black Death on England, encompassing its catastrophic consequences and the ensuing Peasants' Revolt.
In addition to expanding our historical knowledge, we will maintain our focus on historical skills and concepts

New Starters
Below is a list of items required not only for your initial History lesson but also for all subsequent lessons at BIS Abu Dhabi.
- Bring your own device so you can access online resources that will be used during the lesson.
- Make sure you have Microsoft Teams and OneNote downloaded on your laptop as one or both will be used in the classroom.
- Stationary; A black or blue pen, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser.
- You will be provided with an exercise book when you arrive in class.
