There will be ongoing mini assessments set by your class teacher in Term 3 for English. The exact dates will be communicated two weeks prior to each assessment. Students will be revising and completing in-class assessments on both the reading and writing sections of Language paper 1 as well as completing their Imaginative Writing coursework. In addition to class materials provided by teachers, students are advised to use the following resources to prepare for their assessment and unit of work they have been studying this term.

For your end of year mock exams, you will be assessed on completing:
1) English Language Paper 1(both the reading and transactional writing sections) on Thursday 22nd May, 8-11.15am.
2) English Literature Paper 2 (Section A): An Inspector Calls that will be taking place in class on Thursday 15th May, period 6.

Revision and Preparation:

1) Read and revise over the annotations you have made for the 10 non-fiction anthology texts. Remind yourself of the content, themes, linguistic and structural method used by the writer and how these are effective in voicing the writer's perspectives.
