Assessments and Revision

In GCSE Art, students are assessed through a combination of coursework and a final exam. Coursework typically makes up the majority of the assessment and involves the creation of a portfolio of art pieces and a sketch book that demonstrate their skills and development over time. Due to this, students do not sit 'assessments', instead the work is assessed over time with 'touch points' and mini deadlines that will be communicated by the class teacher each term.

Students are assessed on their sketchbook submission containing evidence of their learning throughout the course. Termly
