Artist Research - Growth, Decay, Transformation - Developing your project ideas - AO2/AO3

Create a double research page in your book looking at a painting artist that links to your project ideas.

You should include:-

A title – the artist’s name

An introduction to the artist - name, dates of birth/death, where they are from, what type of artwork they create/mediums used etc, where did they study, their most well-known piece of art any other information that is RELEVANT to their artwork.

At least two images of the artist’s work - A6 in size

A recreation – this can be an enlarged section of the artwork/photographs of a 3D piece etc.

Describe, Analyse, Interpret, Judge - use the helpsheets in your book or here GCSE Fine Art - what you need to know — BISAD (fireflycloud.net)

Talk about how this artist/work will influence your project.

Look for relevant artists using some of the links here: GCSE Fine Art - what you need to know — BISAD

Look at the sketchbook examples below to help you with layout etc. Your page should be neatly presented, well-composed and well-balanced.
