Hello Physicists!
Mock Information
In November, you will sit a Paper 1 for Physics on the topics covered so far. All students will complete the same paper.
This paper could cover
- anything from topics 1 to 5 NOT in bold on the specification
- topic 6 b) magnetism
- topic 8 b) motion in the Universe
Please make sure you are referring to the Pearson International GCSE Physics (9-1) Specification when revising, and use it as a checklist to guide you through which areas you have covered, and where you have strengths and improvements to make.

What to bring to the exam
You will require a calculator, pens, pencils, eraser and a ruler and a protractor for physics exams
Extra Reminders
*Please note, if you are doing Double award science, you will only sit Paper 1 for each science subject, and you do not need to study the bold statements in the specification
* Please remember to keep dropping in to see your science teachers - we want to see you and want to help!
* Full equation booklets will no longer be given to candidates in the 2025 exams and beyond. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will still have the standard list of equations printed on the inside cover (see below). All other equations must be memorised.
