Year 7 French Module 2 exam
Students will be assessed on Module 2 content and will have 2 papers :
- Reading Paper [1 hour] : this paper consists of a number (4 or 5) of graded reading comprehension tasks. Students will be expected to demonstrate a comprehension of the content and structures learnt in this module.
- Speaking exam [1 hour] : this assessment consists of a few questions students will prepare in class and then perform either with the teacher or with a partner, demonstrating their ability to understand familiar questions on the topic and respond using the language learnt in the module.
Students will need to be able to show knowledge in essential vocabulary and basic essential structures and skills such as:
- Introduce oneself and others.
- Describe people using verbs avoir and être with adjectives.
- Express likes and dislikes and justified opinions (‘because’) on a variety of topics.
- Infinitive structures (aimer/aller +infinitive).
Module 2
- School subjects and giving opinions and reasons
- Talking about your timetable, time, clock
- Describing your school day, we form ‘nous’
- Talking about (school) food and snacks, partitive (du, de la, des)

How to revise :
Reading:
- Revise your vocabulary from your knowledge organisers, quizlets (links below) or Education Perfect.
- Focus on the vocabulary you have forgotten, most of the module content you already know!
Speaking:
- use the key structures in the module
- memorise of a variety of vocabulary items in context and that will be relevant for you.
- make sure that your revose yoru question words in orderto understand the questions taht is being asked.
