Get Creative with the NAE Global Campus Art Competition!

This is your chance to shine on a global stage by creating an artwork based on the exciting theme “Light & Dark”, inspired by the UN International Day of Light on 16th May 2025.

Follow these easy steps to get involved:

  1. Master the Theme: Start by exploring the theme “Light & Dark.” Think about how you can represent this contrast in your art. You could explore light and shadow, mood, or storytelling through these opposing elements.

  2. Use Resources: We’ve got you covered! Check out the masterclasses from our special guest judge, Laura Watkins, on Global Campus. She'll guide you through understanding the theme and creating powerful artwork.

  3. Create Your Masterpiece: Let your imagination flow! You can work solo or team up with friends (even from other NAE schools) to create a single collaborative piece.

  4. Enter the School Competition: Once you've finished your artwork, submit a high-quality photograph of it on Firefly (Tasks section) by 1st December. Make sure to include a 50-word description of your work.

  5. Top Entries Go Global: We will select the best entry from each age category, and these will move forward to the Global Competition!

  6. Global Recognition: If selected, you'll have the chance to win a private masterclass experience with Laura Watkins and showcase your work to the entire NAE community.

Important Rules to Follow:

  • Your artwork must be original and entirely your own.
  • Stick to the theme: “Light & Dark”.
  • Only one piece of artwork per entry.
  • Submit your work as a JPEG, PNG, or PDF file.
  • Make sure your name, school, year group, and art teacher’s name are included.

Deadline Alert: All entries must be submitted before 1sth March 2025!

This is an optional but exciting opportunity that could also count towards your BISAD diploma. Whether you're aiming for an award or just doing it for fun, don’t miss this chance to unleash your creativity and compete on a global level!

Good luck, and get creating!
