Welcome to the Year 7 Arabic B curriculum page. Here you will find the information about what students study and the resources to consolidate and deepen understanding.

In Arabic B students study 2 Units in every Term. Assessed in the four language skills (Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking) tests throughout the year.

This curriculum overview shows the details of our approach to teaching and learning Arabic to non-native speakers. Our primary goal is to facilitate a meaningful and engaging learning experience, promoting language proficiency, cultural understanding, and effective communication in Arabic.

  • Leveled learning (1-9) where students can access any level anytime.
  • Structured language modules: Vocabulary, conversational content, sentence structure tailored for non-Arabic speakers.
  • Thematic lessons and dialogues that mirror real-life situations, allowing learners to develop practical language skills.

  • A- Comprehensive Language Module
  • Engaging resources: Ministry textbooks, Arabic magazines and newspapers, TV shows, games.

B-Interactive Learning Activities:

  • Engaging in activities such as role-playing, multimedia presentations, debates, and language games to enhance communication and comprehension.

C- Cultural Integration:

  • Cultural lessons and experiences to familiarize learners with UAE and Arab world customs, traditions, celebrations.
  • Collaborative projects and presentations that explore Arabic arts, literature, music, and cuisine, promoting cross-cultural appreciation.

D- Technology-Enabled Learning:

  • Students utilize their skills on presentations and projects.
  • The use of Arabic digital platforms (Languagenut for example).

E- Continuous Assessment and Feedback:

  • Regular assessments and evaluations to track progress, identify strengths, and address areas for improvement.
  • Online and paper-based assessments, presentations, small projects.
