There will be one final assessment in Term 3 for English. Students will sit their assessment on Friday 23rd March 2025, period 3. In addition to class materials provided by teachers, students are advised to use the following resources to prepare for their assessment and unit of work they have been studying this term on A Midsummer's Night Dream. The Assessment Objectives that are being assessed are AO4 and AO5. 

This assessment will be a creative writing assessment combining their interpretations of the Shakespeare play studied this term, A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as their own interpretation of scenes and settings. Students will be given an image, and they will write a description of this using figurative language and structural techniques for effect. Students will have an hour to complete their assessment and should be mindful of their technical accuracy (spelling, punctuation and grammar) as they will also be awarded marks for this too.
