Recommended Homework

We recommend that students complete 45 mins of Maths on Sparx Maths each week.  This will show up as tasks on Firefly where you can track what has been completed.

Sparx Maths creates personalised practice homework that is driven by our scheme of learning. The practice homework is both challenging (to ensure students need to think) and, crucially, achievable (so that students can be successful).

Students can login into Sparx Maths using their school email account.

Further Practice (Optional)

Of course some students may wish to practice more maths and we are always happy to supply more resources.  We would also encourage students to share any extra work they are doing with their maths teacher.  The three PDFs below contain lots of extra work though students should select them based on how they are performing in tests.  For those performing above 80% we would recommend they work on the enrichment tasks as these will allow them to continue the development of their knowledge.  For those below 80% we recommend the retention worksheets to ensure all the necessary facts and algorithms are memorised.
